12/1 trading
Trading finished early today as we were in and out before the US session began. The algo is in "buy mode", and we got the first buy signal at 3:25 AM [Chicago time] at 1745. The market set up perfectly for this, and within the hour we got a confirmation top at 1752 [covered in the manual]. Out with a $ 7 / oz profit on the day. Email me for more details on how you can get the algo: it's FREE. You can check out my blog at vegasxau.blogspot.com

12/2 trading
Today is NFP day. We got our first buy signal very early in the trading day and got long at 1745.50. Market moved up and we got a confirmation top at 1752.50 a while later. Both buy and sell covered in the trading manual. Gain on the day $7 / oz. For the week, "The Vegas BFSG Algorithm" profited every day and the total for the week was $41 / oz. [In case you're wondering, BFSG = Buy Fear Sell Greed].
Using leverage of anywhere between 10:1 to 20:1, your account profited handsomely. Visit the website vegasxau.blogspot.com or email me vegasxau@ymail.com if you have any questions or comments. The algorithm is free, and I support it fully with email and skype. The manual provides everything you need, even if you are a total newbie to trading.

12/5 trading
We didn't do anything today because the algorithm is no longer in "buy mode", and we have not gotten a "sell mode" signal yet. For more information and a recap of today, please visit http://vegasxau.blogspot.com

12/6 Trading
Early in the Asian session, the algorithm went into "sell mode". Our first sell signal resulted in a $3.50 / oz. loss. Second sell signal resulted in a $10.50 / oz. gain. Net on the day was $ 7.00 / oz.

12/7 Trading
The algorithm was in neutral mode today, neither in buy or sell mode. We therefore sat out the action. If you look at a candlestick chart it was a mess. The algorithm is very good at keeping you out of trouble; in fact it is the first priority. I am anticipating the algorithm will be in "buy mode" by the start of trading tonight for tomorrow. So, the net gain today was $ 0 / oz.

12/8 Trading
A crazy day in the gold market today, but we managed to profit $10 / oz. through the algorithm. For a detailed look at today's action, I posted "Zeno's Paradox Marries The Twilight Zone" at http://vegasxau.blogspot.com

12/9 Trading
We came into today’s action with the algorithm in “sell mode”. Our first sell signal came at 12:40 AM [Chicago time] at 1708.50. Within a couple of hours we had a confirmation bottom [discussed in the manual and also Appendix IV] at 1705.50. Net gain on this trade of $ 3.00 / oz.
Our second sell signal came at 7:00 AM [Chicago time] at 1717. Within the hour we had a confirmation bottom [discussed in the manual and Appendix III] at 1711. Net gain on this trade was $ 6.00 / oz.
Net gain on the trading day of $ 9.00 / oz.
Ka-chinggggggggggggggg !! [again]

12/12 Trading
We started the day already seeing a bloodbath in the Asian session. What have I preached about stops? Gold went down $15 in about 5 seconds last night taking stops to the proverbial woodshed.
Starting around 6:25 AM [Chicago time], and lasting until 7:00 AM [Chicago time] the algorithm played the “DIP’s” game, darting slightly over and then slightly under the market giving a “sell signal”. Depending on what you did, most probably got short between 1680 and 1681.
However, a clear sell signal came 5 minutes later at 7:05 AM [Chicago time] at between 1679 and 1678. For purposes of recording the algo’s performance, I’m going with 1678, just to frustrate Skeptic Cat and his crowd.
A couple of bars later, the algo appeared to give a bottom; however, as I state in the manual, I’m looking for confirmation after an extended time period or price run. I don’t consider 15 minutes or 4 dollars an extended run for either. If you took profits there, then fine. You had about a $3 - $5 / oz profit.
As the market dived to the 1662 level, I lowered my stop to 1669. I was willing to let the market play games down here, but not willing to let good profits slip away. Twenty minutes later they stopped me out near the recovery high. Ask me if I care about the fill?
Short at 1678 and out at 1669, for a profit on the day of $ 9.00 / oz.
Ka-Chinggggggggggggggg [Again]
Have a good day everyone.

12/13 Trading
We started the day in “sell mode”, but never got a sell signal as gold rallied mildly most of the Asian session into Europe. At 7:00 AM [Chicago time] the algo went into “buy mode” [as explained in the manual]. [For you Skeptic Cats out there, I emailed every algorithm trader and announced “buy mode” status at 7 AM (Chicago time), just to make sure they all understood the signals correctly.]
At 8:35 AM [Chicago time] we got our first buy signal at 1666. Within the hour we got a confirmation top [and liquidation of long position signal] at 1673. A very nice quick, net gain of $ 7 / oz. on the trade and for the day.
Time to live life! Go catch a movie or something. Spend some time with your family. Go tell your spouse what a genius trader you are: hey, you deserve it!!
Ka-Chinggggggggg [Again]
Now, I know many of the algo traders are having OMG moments here as I write this. For those of you who are trading on Hope & Change, discover what everybody here knows: the algorithm works baby!
Have a nice day everyone.

12/14 Trading
Can you say ugly price action?
We started the day in “buy mode”, even after yesterday afternoon’s debacle in prices. The Asian session saw prices modestly rally, and at the start of trading [Midnight Chicago time] prices were hovering in a small range near the highs set earlier.
We got our first buy signal at 1:00 AM [Chicago time] at 1639.50. I placed the stop at 1636.50 which was right above the low break a few hours earlier. About an hour later a sell [liquidation of long position] was given at 1638.50. Our first trade was a $ 1.00 / oz. loser.
At 3:15 AM [Chicago time] we got our second buy signal at 1638.50. The stop was placed at 1635.20, just above the recent lows. At 3:40 AM [Chicago time] we got a sell [liquidation of long position] at 1637.50. Again, a $ 1.00 / oz loser.
Our third buy signal came at 6:25 AM [Chicago time] at 1626. The stop was placed at 1622.90, right above the low of the day. At 7:05 AM [Chicago time] we got a confirmation top [discussed in the manual and Appendix IV] at 1629 and the long position was liquidated. A gain of $3.00 / oz
Now, I’ve gotten 3 signals, 2 of which were losers, and I feel like it’s already late afternoon at 7 in the morning. I’m already 7 hours into trading, and I only have 3-4 hours left to make some initial trades. I’m up a buck and I feel as if I’m spitting into the wind. Maybe the algo gives a fourth or even a fifth signal; the point is do I want to take it this late in the trading day and risk losing money for the day?
The answer is simple: ahhhh, no I don’t, especially after we had a nice day yesterday. And the way the action is playing itself out today [and really yesterday afternoon as well] it feels like we are heading for a blow-off downside move while the algorithm is still in “buy mode”. I will take this meager gain today from the long side and run.
So, a net gain on the day of $1.00 / oz. [Not worth ka-chinging]
Have a good day everyone.
